I took a look at my blog and realized it has been more than an entire year since I last posted.

That is unacceptable. I either need to blog more, or I need to give up on the blog.

I'd rather blog more often.

So starting today, I'm going to do my best to do just that. And I'm going to do my best to blog every day.

But part of my problem with my resolve to “blog more” has been finding something to blog about. So I figured I'd start with themed days. These may change at any time without prior notice, and I may break from the themes now and then. And I may make more than one post per day. But for now, I'm going to try to stick with these themes and make one post a day.

Mondays will be “Music Monday.” I'll also extend this into podcasts and other forms of audio, but it will largely about music. Although I'll warn you. My tastes in music is rather eclectic.

Tuesdays will be “TV Tuesday.” Movies will probably also fall under this day. This will be about TV shows and movies that I'm watching, want others to watch, or just looking forward to.

Wednesdays will be “Web Wednesday,” and will largely about plugging various websites and web services that I like or I think people should know about.

Thursdays will be “Tech Thursday.” I'll write about new technologies or technology issues that I think people should know about.

Fridays will be “Fish Friday.” My wife and I have gotten into the aquarium hobby over the last few years, and it is time to start spreading what we know.

Saturdays will be “Software Saturday.” This will be to talk about various software programs that I like.

Sundays, I will just keep open for now. I'll leave Sundays as my “I'll post about anything” days, or some weeks I may just take the day off. For a few weeks, until I get into the habit of posting regularly, I won't skip Sundays.

I will add that all of these topics will be about what I like. Unless otherwise stated, I'm not making any money to post about a particular topic (actually, my blog isn't making any money period). If, by some chance, I do get money for a sponsored post, I'll make it clear in the post.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my newly active blog. If you have any suggestions on what you want to see, feel free to send them along. After all, what’s the point of having a blog if nobody reads it?
