Wormux is a turn-based battle game where two or more teams try to kill each other on a variety of landscapes. The last team with standing members wins. This has a very cartoonish feel to it.

If you are at all familiar with the Worms series of video games, then you have a general feel for the type of game that this is. But this game is free and open-source.

Weapons range from the fairly common (such as a shotgun or a stick of dynamite) to the strange and cartoonish (such as falling anvils or air hammers).

Wormux runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX.
