Unlike Ad-Aware and SpyBot: Search and Destroy, Spyware Blaster will not clean adware or spyware off your computer. However, it blocks known adware and spyware from being installed onto your computer, similar to the immunize function of Spybot: Search and Destroy, except this will block files from both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox. It is not infallible, but if it keeps even one off your computer, then I would say it is worth it.

I recommend updating the definitions at least once a month, just to be on the safe side.
