Lincity is a free, open-source alternative to SimCity. This program compares favorably to the popular series.
In case you aren't familiar with SimCity, LinCity is a city simulation program. You can either build a city from scratch or jump in with a city already been built. Then you are the mayor and city council for the city and make all of the decisions. Good decisions result in happy citizens and a thriving population. Bad decisions can result in upset citizens and a dwindling population.
LinCity runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.
